How to Contribute
There are many ways you can contribute to Sahana and probably the best way to find out is to join the one of the mailing lists below and offer your support. However here are some typical ways you can support the project. You can contribute by:
- developing a new module to Sahana to address a particular problem for Disaster Management or NGOs
- downloading the software and reporting bugs on our bug tracker
- helping to pre-deploy Sahana for NGOs and governmental orgs before the next major disaster happens
- writing user and installation guides on Sahana for different systems
- translating and localizing Sahana to your country
Mailing Lists
The following mailing lists are used for Sahana Development:
- Sahana Maindev - The main mailing list for the Sahana development community
- Humanitarian ICT - This mailing list provides domain leadership to Sahana project under humanitarian-FOSS. Currently Sahana is the main project being discussed
Bug Tracker
Please do report the bugs you find on our system using the bug tracker. You can submit enhancements to the mailing list
